Welcome to Theology That Works! My name is Jacob Mares and my goal with this website is to provide Biblical resources that you can use for everyday life that changes the way we think but also changes the way we live, to provide Biblical resources that not only reach our minds but go tour hearts, hands, and feet.

Over the next few weeks and months, this website will be getting filled with devotionals, blogs, and articles that you can use to help you, encourage, and challenge you to live your life fully for God.

In the meantime, you can [subscribe](#/portal/) to our thrice weekly devotional where you will receive a brief, yet rich devotionals in your inbox that will be of encouragement and motivate you to discover the truths of God's word and to live it out!

As I prepare to start this website, I ask that you pray for these three specific things:

1. Pray that this page glorifies God in all that is done and posted.
2. Pray for the people that post, that they might abide in Christ and grow in their personal relationship with the Lord.
3. Pray that God might use this to help others as they seek to live fully for God.

Get to work!
